Early Wednesday morning, an obsessed fan swam all the way to Taylor Swift's Rhode Island Beach Home. According to TMZ the fan was arrested in the early morning after being spotted by police around 2:00a.m.

Law enforcement told TMZ, "a 22-year-old male from the Chicago area was taken into custody for trespassing after he admitted to swimming up to the beach in front of Swift's home around 2:00a.m."

Officers then approached the man and asked him what he was doing in the water, the man responded by saying he just completed a swim and intended to go meet Taylor Swift.

Sources told TMZ that the man told the cops he swam all the way to Swift's beach but he saw her security team and decided to swim 2 miles back to where he came from.

The police arrested the intruder and booked him on trespassing. He is currently in custody and will be summoned to appear in court on May 24th.

The Westerly Police Department has since met with Swift's security team and discussed the incident.
