It has been five years since Diddy's girl group Danity Kane broke up following issues with the superstar mogul. Now it seems that members Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard, Aundrea Fimbres, and Shannon Bex had a reunion and are planning on making a comeback.
According to Us Weekly, on Monday O'Day, Richard, Fimbres, and Bex were spotted grabbing lunch with a new manager reportedly making plans to record a new album and go on tour together.
TMZ cameras caught the former girl group making their way to lunch in Los Angeles and asked them if they were working with Diddy which they responded no. However the outspoken Aubrey O'Day gave the cameraman a little extra and turned around and said "Who's that?"
The members of Danity Kane achieved fame after winning Diddy's MTV show "Making the Band" back in 2006. Following their victory they released two albums "Danity Kane" and "Welcome to the Dollhouse," both of which went certified platinum.
According to TMZ rumor has that the true reason behind the group's demise was because the girls felt like Diddy was "screwing them big-time in the money department."
Us Weekly reports that following a few on-camera fights Diddy fired O'Day and soon fired the other members with the exception of Dawn Richards who he favored and was grooming for a solo career.
Noticeably absent from the luncheon was fifth member of the group D. Woods. There is no word on whether the singer who released mixtapes of her own over the years will reunite with the group.
