Quickly, Reese Witherspoon got back to her roots --- the blonde ones that is!

The 37-year-old starlet was photographed with her signature hair color while having attended her son, Deacon's soccer game on Saturday in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood, according to US Magazine.

She kept most of her hair tucked into a bun under a fedora hat while having cheered the 8-year-old on the sidelines with husband, Jim Toth. The star's smile was luminious like her golden locks.

It was in March that the Legally Blonde star had dyed her hair for her role in refugee drama "The Good Lie." However, no one really seemed to notice until her and Toth's April 19 arrest, which made headlines before Witherspoon pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct.

The arrest, she said to US, is something she would have to explain to her three children one day. "We have to say when you make a mistake you take responsibility," she said, "and we are taking responsiblity and doing everything in our power to make it right."

The Academy Award-winning actress had been laying low after the incident, but was still sporting the darker look last week while talking with ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe at daughter Ava'a track meet in LA, according to PopSugar

Reese's sun-colored hair had been a staple though she famously went brunette for her role in the 2005 Johnny Cash's biopic, "Walk The Line."

But besides hair changes, the star is slated to appear in "Wish List" this year, and "Men Are From Mars" in 2014.
