We are only one day away from seeing "The Vampire Diaries" season 4 episode "The Walking Dead." To give you a little insight as to what to expect we have awesome spoilers and confirmation from TVD crew themselves.
In episode 22, "The Walking Dead" we will see Mystic falls "overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies," Executive Producer of "The Vampire Diaries," Julie Plec told Spoliers Guide.
"Part of Silas' plan to drop the veil - and Bonnie's effort to either help him or stop him - they kind of blow up in everybody's face in 'The Walking Dead,' and we get our first glimpses of what would happen if this veil fell completely."
"We start to have some ghosts coming through from the other side. It's a nice collection of faces that will make us happy, and then some faces that we thought we probably shouldn't see again because they're up to no good."
Word is that one of those ghost will be Kol Mikaelson (Klaus' younger brother) however he will not bealone, Elena's younger, dead brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is set to appear in at least one more episode, could this be his comeback?
Someone who also may return is Alaric (Matt Davis) since it is rumored that there is a character who can potentially have their death undone according to cartermatt.com.
"It's the same way we've done in the past when they break their way through from the other side, they have corporeal form," Plec explained. "It's just that if you kill them and the veil's down, they can just walk right back through. So they're kind of indestructible."
Fans can rest assure that they will see a beautiful graduation as closing this chapter of the character's lives was important to Plec to portray in a way that they deserved.
"It's difficult to throw an event in Mystic Falls without it going catastrophically awry, but one of the things that was really important to us is that we do give this event itself its due."
"We approached this episode, in its own way, like a series finale because our character's graduating from high school is a shift in the show to open up a lot of new storytelling opportunities and new environments."
"So we really wanted to be able to get all the emotion out of this episode that we could before we move on to a different life."
"We made sure that in spite of everything that's going on in the midst of it, we still get those great friendship moments and nostalgia moments that I, as a fan of TV over the decades, loved so much on high school shows as you reached that milestone."
Plec confirmed that someone will receive "The Cure" in the season finale but is keeping quiet as to just who that is.
Elena who is caught in a love triangle with the Salvatore brothers may not have to choose if Stefan decides he is done first.
"It all hinges on what, if any truth comes out of Elena and Elena's situation," Plec says. "Stefan has been pretty clear about being ready to move on. So the question is will he need to?"
Candince Accola (Caroline) spoke with E! News and shut down rumors that she will be following Klaus to New Orleans and becoming a cast member on "The Originals."
"I've gotten a lot of questions as to whether Caroline will be going over to the Originals. Right now, to my knowledge, Caroline will be in Mystic Falls, or she might go off to college." Accola explained.
"We are going to be going into these characters going off to school, so right now I don't really see Caroline jumping on a plane to go to New Orleans."
