Most women want perfect skin and in our minds we know we will do anything we can to make it happen. However, we commit so many sins against our skin and will not even think twice about it.

We found common habits that most women are guilty of that negatively affect the skin. Looking at the follow habits, if you are guilty of one of the many skin sins, it is time to make a change!

One of the major crimes that need to end towards our skin is directed to all you smokers. Yes by now we all know that it is damaging to your health to smoke but did you know that with each puff you risk developing more deep wrinkles and a blotchier skin tone.

According to Allure every decade of smoking results in a perceived extra 2.5 years of age. How old has your cigarette smoking made you?

In our next crime against skin we discover that having a good time can mean ruining your skin. That brings us to the next sin on our list, drinking too much.

We all like to have a good time, who doesn't? But where your skin is concerned, it might be a good idea to slow down on the cocktails when you are out and about.

This is not to say you have to give up drinking completely, you can still have a glass of something. But if you drink more than one cocktail a day, your skin will suffer.

Allure stated that alcohol increases the level inflammatory agents in the bloodstream in "which can hasten skin sagging over time." It would be ideal to lay off of heavy drinking since we all know beer goggles only last for so long.

One crime that we commit that is actually hazardous to our skin and health is overlooking moles. Sure over the years celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and even now Blake Lively have made beauty marks a popular trend, however this trend can be killing you.

That beautiful mole that you have grown so fond of can be cancerous. According to Allure a study conducted by the National Cancer Institute concluded that 50 percent more melanoma cases occurred in women ages 15 to 39 in 2004 than in 1980.

Many people are oblivious to the fact that you should get a mole screening with a dermatologist once a year.

You should also be examining yourself every month and check less-obvious places such as your scalp, the soles of your feet, and under your nails. If anything causes you to take second look, go to the dermatologist.

The information given in this article has only scratched the surface on the many crimes we commit against our skin and the habits that we need to stop.
