Kristen Stewart got into a car accident on Friday in Los Angeles however the incident was a mere fender bender. The "Twilight" star accidently bumped into the rear bumper of another woman's car according to People Magazine.

The actress was visiting a friend according to E! News when the minor accident happened. Minus from the accident was Stewart's boyfriend Robert Pattison who at the time was across the country in New York City.

The actress handled the situation responsibly and exchanged information with the other driver. Both parties involved in the accident walked away with no injuries.

A source told E! News "Kristen appeared to be a bit shy and embarrassed," but "Luckily no one was hurt in the accident."

According to Hollywoodlife.com there was some damaged done to the other driver's rear-left bumper, but she was able to pop it back into place herself.

After waiting for the woman who had children in the car observe the damage the two parted ways and Stewart went about her day.

Pattinson was spotted in New York catching the Broadway show "Orphans" which stars Alec Baldwin and his close friend Tom Sturridge.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are expected to reunite on May 6th for the MET Ball in New York City.
