One thing we can always count on from Nina Dobrev, is for the 24-year old beauty to always look glamorous come red carpet time. "The Vampire Diaries" star walked the red carpet to "The Great Gatsby" premiere minus boyfriend and TVD co-star Ian Somerhalder.

The actress dazzled as she arrived at the world premiere of "The Great Gatsby" film in New York City at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. According to Hollywoodlife.com Dobrev "wowed in a Versace frock form the Spring 2013 collection."

The star looked gorgeous in the form-fitted dress that hugged her petite frame and illuminated her curves. The Versace dress which was black and gold featured an art deco-inspired motif that covered the front.

Dobrev wore a pair of gold Rupert Sanderson "Elba" pumps which matched the embellishments on her dress while the crystallized heel added glam to the fabolous ensemble.

For accessories Nina Dobrev went with a boxy Jimmy Choo clutch and Susan Foster earrings without make the outfit seem too busy, which many young celebrities have the habit of doing.

The actress sported her signature long locks styled wavy and loose swept to one side giving her a 1920's period look.

While Ian Somerhalder was absent from her side on the red carpet, according to Just Jared he was seen earlier the same day on the streets of New York City.

"The Vampire Diaries" star tweeted, "Wondering dark&quiet NY streets solo,reminiscing about times past,youth&pondering life.NYC does that-quite an existential moment for Ian..." Somerhalder has since left New York."
