On Tuesday ABC Family announced that "Pretty Little Liars" star Tyler Blackburn will be taking his talents to the show's spinoff "Ravenswood."
The star took to his Twitter account to announce the news, "I am so stoked to head to #Ravenswood @RavenswoodABCF - I promise you won't be disappointed!"
In the series "Pretty Little Liars," Blackburn plays Caleb, Hanna Marin's (Ashley Benson) boyfriend. At the moment the two are romantically linked to one another off-screen as well. The actress tweeted, "I'm going to miss my little love bug @tylerjblackburn sooooo excited for ravenswood xxxxxxxx."
"Pretty Little Liars," which is based on the best-selling book by Sara Shepard, follows a group of teenage girls whose best friend was murdered. Following her death the group begins to receive text messages from a mysterious figure known as "A," who stalks, harasses, pranks, and blackmails the girls.
According to ABC Family, in the "Pretty Little Liars" spinoff "Ravenswood," Tyler Blackburn will star as one of the five strangers in a group who suddenly find themselves connected by a fatal curse. The series will focus on the characters as they dig into the town's mysterious and terrible history before it's too late.
According to Us Weekly, fans will see Blackburn's character appear in all new episodes of "Pretty Little Liars" when the fourth season premieres on ABC Family, Tuesday June 11th.
