"Harry Potter" Star Emma Watson in the past has denied rumors of her playing the character Anastasia Steele for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation. On March 16th the actress took to her Twitter page and tweeted, "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life."

The rumor mill began to buzz once again on Sunday night after actor Jonah Hill made a humorous remark about Emma Watson playing Anastasia Steele. Although it is still unclear whether the actress will be taking on the role it is certain that her new film "The Bling Ring" will be screened at Cannes Film Festival 2013.

Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring" stars the British actress in the film based on the real-life story of fame obsessed teens who committed a string of robberies at the homes of Hollywood celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Orlando Bloom.

The teens stole over $3 million worth of property from the celebrities. In an interview with British GQ, Emma Watson admitted that during filming she grew to hate her character, "The character is everything that I felt strongly against -- she's superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral. She's all of these things and I realized that I hated her. How do you play someone you hate?"

The film is scheduled to open the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival 2013 on May 16th. This film is part of the festival's official selection in which competes with other films for the Palme d'Or prize.

"The Bling Ring" is scheduled to hit theaters June 14th.
