British heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne took to Facebook and posted a heartfelt apology to his family.
The apology was posted just hours after Black Sabbath announced North American tour dates for their album "13." The rocker admitted to substance abuse over the last year and a half and apologized for his behavior.
"For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs," Osbourne said. Then he went on to say, "I was in a very dark place and was an a--hole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."
In the apology Ozzy Osbourne also addressed rumors of the alleged split between him and his wife Sharon Osbourne. He denied that the two are getting a divorce even though earlier this month Sharon was photographed with a moving truck at a new Beverly Hills property. Photos surfaced of the reality star in Beverly Hills as a moving team unloaded chairs, tables, and other pieces of furniture from two moving trucks.
A few days prior to moving Sharon was spotted grabbing lunch in West Hollywood with her daughter Kelly minus her wedding ring. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2011 Sharon told the magazine that she never wanted to be a divorce women, claiming that prior to meeting her husband there were not any men that she actually liked.
At first the family remained silent about the rumour but the couple's son Jack took to Twitter in an effort to end the speculation. He tweeted, "It's all bullsh** ...last time I check a lot of British news papers weren't amazing sources of accurate information. Moving on."
Since their MTV reality show the family has gained fame and the couple has become one of Hollywood's favorites.
