X-Men star Hugh Jackman was attacked with an electric razor while working out at the gym on Sunday morning. The accused stalker, Katherine Thurston approached Jackman on the sidewalk just before 8:00 a.m. professing her love to him and asking if they were going to get married. She then followed him into his gym where she began screaming and crying then proceeded to threaten him with a razor filled with her pubic hair.

Jackman told the New York Post "It was obviously frightening" he continued to say, "for me, my main concern is for my family. I just hope the woman gets the help she needs."

According to public records Thurston has been arrested at least 11 times since 2003 on charges of arson, trespassing, possession and stolen property. Jackman already had a restraining order against Thurston since last year after she was caught stalking him at a San Francisco concert. Thurston went as far as to approach Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness and his 7 year old daughter Ava in March saying, "I am going to marry your husband.

Thurston's ex-mother-in-law has said in the past Thurston has previously done some stalking in New York and believes that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The accused stalker, who was arrested following the incident is due back in court on Friday.

Jackman who is a regular at Gotham Gym has returned to his gym stating, " If I don't work out, my trainer is going to punish me." Jackman can be seen this summer in the new Wolverine flick in which the actor is known for having a fit physique.
