Kim Kardashian Pregnancy Diet for Baby Bump Weight: Kanye's girlfriend writes 'Mommy Blog' post on 'keeping her healthy lifestyle'
Kim Kardashian is eating for two, but the mom-to-be doesn't want that to mean she has to throw away the years spent working hard to keep healthy. The 32-year-old reality star is pregnant with boyfriend rapper Kanye West's child, and following last week's pregnancy scare, she wants to make sure she is being extra attentive to her and her child's needs.
"Keeping a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me," the 32-year-old reality star says of her pregnancy diet in a new "mommy blog" post on her website. "And now it's even more important because I am looking out for someone else's well being other than just my own."
"I've been researching recipes and healthy eating tricks to make sure that I get the right nutrition now that I'm eating for two!" she continues. "For me it's about maintaining a well-balanced eating and fitness plan."
Kardashian said she is also turning to outside sources for her pregnancy diet.
"My friend Harley Pasternak sent me this book and I am so excited to read it!" she says, referring to the celebrity trainer's Body Reset Diet. "[It] will give you the tools you need to restart the way you are eating and boost your metabolism. I love his recipes and I know you guys will too!"
Pasternak has also with Megan Fox, Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff during their pregnancies.
For now, Kim is doing her best to keep positive and off her feet, but assured everyone she is fine despite rumors her schedule was wearing her down.
"She's been working a lot, and with a divorce and the move and everything else she has going on, she just needs to take a little rest," a source told Us Weekly.
"Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm doing fine! Just resting...have a good weekend. Love you guys!" Kardashian tweeted after the scare.
