Rihanna doesn't care what people think about her infamous 2009 Grammys incident with Chris Brown. She's even less worried about what her gun tattoos suggest about her personality or willingness to take back the man who abused her.

In her recent interview with Elle UK magazine, Rihanna opened up about the subject and prominently displayed her tattoos during the Elle photo shoot for the cover.

"Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life. Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No," she tells the mag. "That's why I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength. I'll never be a victim."

It's not the only gun tattoo Rihanna has inked on her skin. She also has a tattoo on her foot, an Egyptian-like falcon in the shape of a gun that she decided to get just days after she and Brown were involved with rapper Drake in a bottle-throwing scuffle at a New York City nightclub.

"Falcon s--t!!!!" she tweeted in June 2012, following it up with, "Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep."

The 25-year-old was certainly not shy about her relationship with Chris Brown or baby plans in the interview, either.

"A great friendship, that's unbreakable. Now that we're adults, we can do this right. We got a fresh start, and I'm thankful for that," Rihanna said of Brown.

She also expressed her intentions of getting serious in the next few years, hopefully bringing her own baby into the world within the next five years.

"Probably have a kid. And [five years from now] I'll have set some things up so I don't have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring. I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy," she said.
