Rihanna is 'unapologetic.' The Barbadian singer obtained a temporary restraining order against a home intruder Tuesday at Los Angeles Superior Court. The man mistakenly broke into Rihanna's neighbor's house thinking that it was the star's home.
Still, the 25-year-old asked the court that they order Steveland Barrow 100 yards away from the property until the next court hearing on March 21st. Barrow, who reportedly claimed that he had previously been invited into the singer's home, "removed various items from the home and slept in a bed thinking it was Ms. Fenty's," according to the court documents. Rihanna says Barrow's actions have caused her to fear for her safety, as well.
The filing states he "will go to great lengths to come into contact with (Rihanna) and has no regard for her privacy."
Stay away, says Ri-Ri.
In other news involving the pop star, Chris Brown is finally apologizing for his infamous assault of Rihanna in 2009.
He opened up for the first time in an interview with the Mirror about his assault of his then-girlfried in 2009, calling the vicious attack the "deepest regret of my life."
Four years too late may be the thought running through most heads, but Brown hopes his apology for the incident to the U.K. publication can help smooth over recent backlash to their reconciliation. Brown was attending Elton John's Aids Foundation Oscars fund raising party in Hollywood when he came out with the admission to the Mirror.
Out of character might be how some described his humble admission of guilt. "Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals" the singer said. "That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me - what can I say? I'm forgiven... but, yes, I worked hard for it."
Rihanna, seems to echo some of the same sentiments.
"When you add up the pieces from the outside, it's not the cutest puzzle in the world," Rihanna told Rolling Stone in an interview. "You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it's different now. We don't have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about sh--. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."
Chris Brown may have beaten her, but it's Barrow that has a restraining order.
