Prince Harry is "serious" with girlfriend Cressida Bonas, but won't be attending her sister's wedding, according to London's Evening Standard.

Though many reports suggested that the two would attend Bonas' half-sister's reception at Sir Richard Branson's private game reserve near Kruger National Park, but it doesn't seem Harry will accompany Bonas to see Branson's son Sam marry Isabella Calthorpe. Prince Harry is on a charity trip to Lesotho and South Africa this week, which seems like a pretty honorable reason to miss out on the ceremony.

Regardless, just how smitten is Harry with Miss Bonas? The 28-year-old was photographed smooching the 24-year-old dance student last week while the two were spending a few days at Verbier, a Swiss ski resort. Also partying with Harry and Cressida were Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and their parents Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York.

"Everyone seems very sure that Prince Harry is accompanying Cressida to Sam Branson's wedding," a well-placed source reportedly told the Standard.

"I am told Harry is not going at all. He is there on a charity mission. His relationship is going well, but after the skiing pictures I think some in the media are getting a bit ahead of themselves. They are young and having fun together. Of course, the prince is keen to protect her from over-exposure, from intrusion into her privacy."

While the news that Harry might be accompanying Bonas to the wedding sparked rumors of a future engagement, things don't seem to be moving as fast as anticipated. Bonas, who is the daughter of well-known entrepreneur Jeffrey Bonas and Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, the daughter of the 6th Earl Howe, reportedly met Prince Harry at a music festival last summer and the two hit it off, according to a friend.

"Cressie's a lovely girl. Harry and her are really enjoying being together. It is a real romance," the friend said.
