"I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually," Johansson told ELLE UK.

"But it is different. It's hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn't mean you have to be married. It's really not important to me. I'm not having kids any time soon, I'm in a nice relationship, I'm working a lot."

Johannson may want to call up singer Katy Perry on how to deal with gossip hunters after her ring-wearing motives. The 28-year-old was photographed last week with a large hear-shaped ruby ring on a finger that had many speculating that she and boyfriend John Mayer had tied the knot. Perry has not confirmed that she and Mayer are engaged.
