The Patrick Carney vs. Justin Bieber twitter war is still alive.

The Black Keys drummer and Canadian pop sensation have made recent headlines for a twitter feud that just doesn't seem to want to die out. Today, Carney changed his twitter page to an imposter Bieber parody page—changing his name to "Patrick Biebe Carney" and changing his photo to one of his new nemesis. "Official twitter for the actual verified Patrick Biebe Carney," the musician's Twitter profile reads. "Drummer in the Black Keys."

While it's not a major surprise a rock artist and major pop musician may have differing opinions on their musical significance, Carney really took a jab at Bieber when he was stopped by a TMZ cameramanfollowing the Grammy's and asked what he thought of Bieber's Grammy snub.

"Justin Bieber? He's rich, right?" the drummer replied. "I mean, I dunno. Grammys are for like, for music, not for money and he's making ... money. I dunno. He should be happy, I guess." Bieber took to twitter after the video went viral telling Carney "The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha." Carney then replied by adding ":(."

Carney's band won several awards at the music award ceremony, including "best rock song" for their song "Lonely Boy." Bieber receieved no nominations this year after receiving two nominations in 2011.

Per usual, Bieber's loyal fan base has not let Carney's comments go without rebuttal. The singer's 34.3 million twitter followers have relentlessly tweeted back at Carney with support for Bieber and disapproval for everything from Carney's music, looks and attitude.

"@patrickcarney i cant believe u that jelous ur so stupid how could u ever comepete with @justinbieber ur just loseing fans," one fan Tweeted.

Another added"@patrickcarney Your band's not even relevant in 2013. Stahp trying to get attention." While spelling may not be important to his fans, their message is clear—you mess with Bieber and you better believe the Beliebers will be all over you.

While there's little doubt Carney should be bigger than this feud, I'm not sure the grudge is going to be over soon. We'll keep looking out for more on the situation.
