Luxury chocolatier and cocoa grower Hotel Chocolat recently launched a variety of beauty products called Cocoa Juvenate. The Cocoa Juvenate range will be available online and in-store on Monday. The products were developed at Hotel Chocolat’s Boucan Hotel & Restaurant spa on St. Lucia, according to Cambridge News.

The new products make use of cocoa’s natural properties which is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and also has softening and hydrating properties. These products also utilized a new ingredient called Nano Cacao, which is a fine emulsion of cocoa which uses the bean’s natural compound to help de-stress, relax and soothe the skin.

The Cocoa Juvenate beauty range comprises Lip Balm, Body Oil, Hand Cream, Warming Body Mask, Body Polish, Body Butter, Hand & Body Wash, Hand & Body Lotion and a Treatment Candle.

According to Cambridge News, Hotel Chocolat commented on the new products by stating, “Don’t expect these new products to smell of chocolate. They have been created to invigorate with a scent inspired by the refreshing, uplifting tang of a freshly cut cocoa pod”.

Hotel Chocolat founders Angus Thirlwell and Peter Harris continue to expand their company since starting as a chocolate peppermint company for marketing giveaways. The company has since developed into one of the world’s foremost high end chocolatiers that includes a tasting club, a luxury hotel and spa.
