On Friday Jason Wu presented his new collection entitled "Extreme Feminity" at New York Fashion week. Mr. Wu's new fashion line included fur-trimmed satin peplum jackets in black with white colors, tailored jackets with peplum and trims of velvet and glossy black fox along the shoulders and lapels, according to the New York Times.

The collection also included light knee-length dresses, black twill coats, oversized fox fur pockets, short coat dresses, and a black lace rain slicker and trench coat.

The look was described by The New York Times to be very modern and "extra-polished". The Los Angeles Times described Wu's collection as "confident and sexy without being revealing or exploitative".

The 30-year-old fashion designer recently celebrated his second occasion of dressing First Lady Michelle Obama for an inaugural ball. Wu stated he was feeling very confident and comfortable in his own skin, according to The New York Times.

"It was time to turn it up a notch," he stated upon his collection. According to The New York Times, Mr. Wu said he wasn't interested in doing a theme this season, just presenting a more adult look.

When asked about the snowstorm that raged on Friday in New York and the Tristate area, Wu stated that he never gave the storm much thought. "What could we do?  We didn't have a contingency plan," Wu stated at the event.
