French luxury cosmetics house Lancome has announced its partnership with one of the most popular designers Jason Wu, who will create a line of makeup with the brand.

Wu is expected to bring in his quirky ideas and talent to the brand which symbolizes femininity with modern sensibilities.

The partnership is a perfect blend of style and sensitivity as Wu is a designer known worldwide for his distinctive art and he proclaims to adore women and is said to have a love for enhancing the female form.

While he focuses on making clothes that are as beautifully crafted inside as out, Lancome is dedicated to the inner and outer beauty of women, which is in perfect sync with Wu's values.

"Jason's vision of femininity and talent for designing clothing and accessories that truly embody a modern, elegant and stylish woman are directly in line with Lancome's brand equity," says Silvia Galfo, senior vice president of Marketing in press statement. "By partnering with Jason, we are able to reach an even more fashion savvy and sophisticated woman."

The Taiwanese-Canadian designer seems to be equally pleased with the alliance that comes right after he created waves at the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Ball with first lady Michelle Obama wearing his stunning creation.

"What was so intriguing about partnering with Lancome, beyond the quality and luxury of their products, is the notion that the brand doesn't impose a model of beauty but rather invites women to embrace themselves. This is the embodiment of a truly sexy, modern and confident woman, much like the women I design for," said a visibly pleased Wu.

What the line of makeup includes hasn't been revealed but the much anticipated collection is scheduled to hit stores in September 2013, so guess fans will have to wait some more.
