Victoria Beckham has made quite a mark among her fans and critics with her stunning designs, which replicate her personal style. And now taking her career as a designer even further, Beckham has decided to launch a capsule collection, "Icon" that will include the most popular pieces from her previous collections.

"I introduced Icon in response to requests for designs from as far back as my first collection from customers, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly reworked colours and fabrics," Posh told Elle UK.

The line will include redrafted and tweaked versions of her previous hit numbers and the first batch of the Icon collection will include seven dresses by the singer turned designer. The Icon Collection will launch in February and will retail from about $1587.

"I hope these updated styles will become unique, limited edition pieces and am excited to revisit other archive designs as the Icon collection continues to grow," Posh added.

Making a foray into the world of e-commerce, the Icon Collection will be launched online on the designer's site, which will also feature accessories, eyewear, denims and pieces from the Victoria Beckham line.

The 38-year-old designer has also been planning a menswear line with help from her fashionable footballer husband David Beckham. After his stint with LA Galaxy, the stylish family is back in London and now Posh wants him to give his inputs and design the menswear line for her brand.

The star footballer has a line of underwear, which he launched for H&M early 2012, and also a range of fragrances for men and women. Considering the couple has often been called style icons, the duo teaming up might prove to be a perfect move.
