There are numerous mascaras in the market that claim to extend one's lashes is seconds. Adding to customer choice is another kid on the bloc, Freezeframe. The brand claims that its new mascara, INSTANT LASH, will increase the lash length by 4-8 mm instantly.

"Now you can apply lash extensions yourself at home with INSTANT LASH. INSTANT LASH are lash extensions you can simply brush on in just seconds, without having to sit in a salon for hours to have them painstakingly glued on," the brand describes the product on its site.

The product is priced at $39 and is made from minute synthetic hairs that look like real lashes along with a nourishing and thickening dark gel base. The wearer has to brush the mascara over the lashes just on the tips and the result is thicker and perfectly curled lashes.

Customers have been raving about the product and there is already a long waiting list for it.

"Instant Lash is my party must have, no longer do I have to wear fake lashes, I apply and instantly have longer, thicker lashes, it's amazing," a user, Jennifer Lynn told the Daily Mail.

"The product is amazing and leaves me looking like I have thicker, longer lashes instantly, I'd recommend it to anyone," another user told the site.

Freezeframe is not the first brand to make such a claim. Dior too in an ad that featured Hollywood A-lister Natalie Portman had claimed that the brand's mascara gives a thicker longer lasting effect. The mascara was supposed to thicken and extend the lashes but the results did not match the brand's claims.

Following this, Dior's rival L'Oreal UK filed a complaint against the brand that that the ad was misleading the customers by showing fake results and Portman's lashes were blown up using editing techniques. The ad was finally banned in the U.K.
