Just days after splitting from One Direction's Harry Style, country pop singer, Taylor Swift, was a picture of poise and grace at the Golden Globes, where her "Safe and Sound" was nominated for the Best Original song category.

Taylor turned up for the event in a plum-colored backless gown by Donna Karen. The fishtail gown accentuated her slim figure by revealing her side boobs and a good portion of her back. In an attempt to look grown-up, Taylor swept her bangs off her forehead and coiffed into a side bun.

Taylor's make-up was understated and she thankfully stayed away from her usual bold red lipstick. She completed the look with minimum accessories by choosing a pair of diamond drop earrings to adorn her earlobes.

Throughout the event, Taylor maintained her poise and grace even when show hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took a dig at the "Love Story" singer for her short-lived relationship with Harry.

"You know what Taylor Swift, you stay away from Michael J Fox's son," Fey said, referring to Taylor dating someone who is much junior to her.

When Poehler chipped in "or go for it", Fey quickly said, "No, she needs some me time, to learn about herself."

Sadly, since splitting from Harry, Taylor has come under a lot of criticism for her serial dating ways. Though it is not sure what caused the split, sources close to Harry said that Taylor's prudish ways were getting on Harry's nerves, causing the break-up.

"Taylor is so concerned that the public will think she's a wh*re because she dates around, that she doesn't put out," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"What she doesn't get is that the guys keep dumping her because she's being a prude."
