'Slut Shaming' New Growing Cyber Bullying Trend

Shaming on social media becomes a new disturbing teen trend. New phenomenon has taken place online, teenage girls and boys have been posting on social media sites Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr creating "Shaming"  a type of cyber bulling.

According to ABC News "Girls will take raunchy pictures of themselves and after that, (other) girls will repost pictures and kind of make fun of them," said Alley Guscott.

The social media "scarlet Letter," are used by many teenagers, such as Facebook page "Hey Girls, Did You Know." where users attack individuals looks, body image, style and behavior just because. Photos posted by boyfriends, and friends on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr are then inundated with negative, taunts and teasing comments often spreading rumors about girls sexual life.

"Everyone thinks they can do anything they feel like doing online, They can't," said security lawyer Parry Aftab to ABC News.
