Julianne Hough,'Dancing with the Stars' performer, actress and country singer reveals her secret that "I was abused, mentally, physically, everything," as a 10 year-old overseas.  

The 24 year-old revealed her secret past that she was abused at age 10, "I was abused, mentally, physically, everything," said Hough in recent Cosmopolitan interview.

Julianne started dancing at Center Stage Performing Arts Stuido in Orem, Utah, in Latin Ballroom and started competitive dancing at age 9. She and her brother Derek were sent to London to study at Italia Conti Academy at age 10, there she learned theatre, gymnastics, jazz, ballet and many forms of dance, but during her stay adults took advantage of her, "I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy façade because that was my job and my life," said the 24 year-old, adding "I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love." 

Adults at the school told her she if she goes back to America she is  going to end up as "nothing," work at 'whataburger,' or 'end up a slut,'  so she decided she can't go back. "I have to be this person."  Julianne  left London at age 15 winning both Junior World Latin Champion and International Latin Youth Champion at the Blackpool Dance Festival.

Hough joined the ABC hit show "Dancing with the Stars" at 19 winning season 4 with partner Olympic gold medalist Apolo Ohno and season 5 with partern Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castronees. Since leaving the show in 2008, the dancer turned to country music releasing her debut album which went #1 in Billboard  Country Album chart.  Julianne has since persued her career in the film, acting in movies 'Footloose,' and 'Rock of Ages' and now adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' bestseller 'Safe Heven,' and currently dating host Ryan Seacrest, she haven't look back since
