While most people welcome the New Year with a countdown and a kiss, Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris greeted 2013 with wedding bells. The on-again couple got married on New Year's Eve at the Playboy Mansion and Harris was clearly very excited to get hitched. She changed her name to Crystal Hefner before even tying the knot.

The 26-year-old has been continuously posting pictures of the decorations, flowers and other arrangements on her Twitter account. Before the wedding Harris tweeted, "Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed." She also gave her 552,865 followers a peek into the mansion that had been readied for the nuptials. Minutes before walking down the aisle, the glamour model tweeted a picture of the decorated alter with a caption, "Almost ready!"

This is Harris' first wedding and the third for the Playboy magazine founder. Hefner was previously married to Mildred Williams for 10 years. The former couple later filed for divorce after which Hefner married Kimberly Conrad in 1989. The duo split in 2010.

Hefner and Harris had earlier gotten engaged and were set to get hitched in 2011. But five days before the wedding Harris developed cold feet and backed out of the wedding. A gloomy Hefner had then tweeted, "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart," later adding, "The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage."

Even when Harris called off the wedding Hefner never held a grudge against her and even let her keep the $90,000 rock he had presented her. There were also reports that Harris had sold off the ring for $47,000. But the former Playboy Playmate moved back in to the mansion early 2012 and the couple rekindled their love getting engaged in December.
