Whitney Houston's death in 2012 ruled as "accidental drowning" has come into question again almost after 10 months with a private investigator claiming to have proof that the diva was murdered, reports Oregon Live. Paul Huebl said that h e had handed over evidence to the FBI, which confirmed that Houston was murdered by drug dealers as the singer owed them $1.5 million.
It is believed that the drug dealers sent the killers to collect the amount she owed. Huebl has examined all the surveillance cameras of Beverly Hilton where Houston was staying and found the footage of two men entering the singer's room. Not just the cameras, the investigator is also said to have taken the help of a network of informants to come to this conclusion.
He also claims that despite the coroner ruling that there was no sign of foul play, the body showed obvious signs that it wasn't an accidental death. "Whitney's body shows classic defense wounds that would have occurred while she was battling for her life," he told the National Enquirer.
Huebl is said to have been hired by a client who did not quite believe that Houston died from drowning in a bathtub. He did not disclose the client's name.
"I think that if you put all these things together, they do kind of spell homicide, with a big red capital "H,"" he told MailOnline.
Houston died on Feb. 11, 2012 and had an invitation-only memorial service at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. The service that was scheduled for two hours lasted for four hours with numerous people paying their respects. The 48-year-old was buried on Feb. 19 in Fairview Cemetery next to her father.
