For weeks there have been rumors about Jessica Simpson's pregnancy but till now she chose to stay tight-lipped about it. The T.V personality has finally opened up over Christmas and confirmed the news through Twitter.

The 32-year-old tweeted, "Merry Christmas from my family to yours" with a picture of her daughter Maxwell. The little toddler was seen sitting on a beach and grinning up at the lens next to the words that said "BIG SIS."

This is not the first time Simpson has announced her pregnancy through the social networking site. Even when she was pregnant for the first time with daughter Maxwell in 2011, she tweeted a picture of herself in a Halloween costume with the words "It's true! I am going to be a mummy."

Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1, 2012. During the pregnancy, the star had signed a deal with Weight Watchers to use the brand's diet plan to lose the approximately 70 pounds she gained.

Since giving birth, her post baby weight has continuously been spoken about and compared to new mothers like Hilary Duff and Megan Fox. Simpson even faced some harsh words for being unable to flaunt the perfect figure and taking time to lose extra weight. The discussions have faded now since she has been working out with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak and lost oodles of weight.

Currently she also serves as a spokesperson for the brand. Simpson's first T.V commercial for the brand started airing Dec. 25. The commercial shows the mother of one dressed in stylish cowboy boots and skinny jeans flaunting a trim figure. "I didn't need to be perfect to get here, to lose over 50 pounds on Weight Watchers. I love food, I love life and I had no idea I could be so in control and so free at the same time," she says in the ad.
