Looks like lovebirds Harry Styles and Taylor Swift won't be spending Christmas together as Swift is headed to Australia for a commitment she made earlier while Styles is left sans Swift in U.K., according to mirror.co.uk.

The young couple was recently seen jetting off to Utah along with Swift's brother Austin. The couple enjoyed a thrilling time skiing along the slopes and sharing lunch, probably a pre-Christmas celebration.

"Harry and Taylor have spent a lot of time together recently as they really enjoy each other's company, which is why they decided to go on the skiing mini-break together this weekend," the site quoted a source.

As much as the couple enjoyed being together, Swift was clearly looking forward to being down-under. "It's gonna be non-stop sun. So it will be weird to have a tan around Christmas but I'm really excited about it," the site quoted Swift as saying.

But "One Direction" singer will surely not be moping around missing his girlfriend as he is likely to join his family for Christmas celebrations.

Apart from spending time with her boyfriend, Swift has reportedly been looking for a unique gift for Styles and her budget is said to have been about $96,000, according to tvnz.com. The 23-year-old country singer has been visiting stores in Liverpool that are known for their rare music-related pieces. She has been looking around to buy a rare memorabilia autographed by the Beatles, which she feels Styles will love.

Styles too shelled out a massive amount to buy presents for the "You Belong With Me" hit maker's 23rd birthday recently. Styles is said to have got Swift a Jimmy Choo bag, perfume, a black and white photo of Swift in a vintage frame and vintage earrings. So we assume that Swift not only wants to get something special for her boyfriend but is also trying to make up for being away for Christmas.
