I/O Denim has announced the launch of its American made, premium denim line featuring an innovative pocket that has been designed specifically to hold the wearer’s smartphone.
The I/O Pocket is a discrete and one of a kind pocket on the left-hand side of the jeans along the seam and is specially designed keeping the latest variety of smartphones in mind. It can easily fit any phone that has up to a 4.8-inch screen with a slim case like the iPhone and Galaxy S3.
“Our goal is to disrupt a stagnant industry by making it easier to 'wear' your Smartphone, as well as keeping everything from design to the manufacturing of the jeans within the United States,” said Anand Venkatrao, CEO.
The line of denim is not just trendy but also practical considering smartphones are something people carry along every minute of the day. As everyone’s dependency on these gadgets grow, brands these days put in extra effort to provide customers with apparels that are not only stylish but also hold their valuables with style and ease.
In slim fit designs, the first edition jeans are neither too skinny nor too straight and the I/O pockets blend perfectly with the style. The brand plans on introducing more styles and cuts in summer 2013.
I/O jeans will be offered for men in sizes 32, 33, 34 and 36 with an inseam that has an industry-wide standard measurement of 34 inches. The jeans can be altered according to the wearer’s preference. As of now the I/O jeans are available in a dark indigo wash and the brand plans to offer a range of washes and colors at a later stage.
