Forbes annual Under 30 Fashon Stars list includes Michelle Obamas favorite designer Carly Cushnie and Micheele Ochs in Cushnie et Ochs, Alexander Wang, new creative director for fashion brand Belanciaga with his unique urban chic designs and famous Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson for their brand 'The Row' designed in "bohemian-bourgeois" styles.
Forbes editors and panel of judges listed the "young disruptors, innovators and entrepreners." adding field's brightest stars under the age of 30 with "creative and intellectual best of their generation," according to Forbes.
Art & Style list includes Sophia Amoruso, founder of e-commercial site Nasty Gal, started when Amoruso was 22, inspired by eponymous 1975 album of soul rock singer Betty Davis, since then the company reached 24 million in sale and employed 110 people. Nasty Gal recently launched its own lifestyle magazine. Joseph Altuzarra, Fashion Designer at 29 started his own company, his signature designs include complex seams, fitted pants which he honed his skills working for Marc Jacobs and Givenchy.
Pedro Lourenço, Brazilian stylist, signed his first collection at age 12 and made his professional debut in the fashion world as a teenager, creating Carlota Joakina, in 2005 Pedro officially launched his own fashion label and has since created seven collections, including recently presented collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2010. GiGi Burris, founded her own hat company with unique designs inspired by luxury for her clients, which includes Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Angelina Jolie. Her special hats have been featured in many fashion magazines, made from her favorite material alligator skin.
