Lindsay Lohan seems to be terrified of serving jail time and is looking for ways to avoid it. The actress, according to TMZ, has decided to seek help from her friends, family and even her spiritual guru. Lohan, who keeps getting her name dragged into one controversy after another, has asked her near and dear ones to write to the judge hearing her case and explain why jail time for her is a bad idea.
LiLo has admitted that her life is out of control and that she needs help to bring it back on track, according to the site. But she still believes that none of it is her fault and blames the "bad company" she keeps. She says they provoke her.
Talking about provocations, the "Mean Girls" star was recently offered a job at a strip club in New York City. Thankfully, the star didn't take up the offer. We wonder if these are the kind of provocations she is talking about.
Between all her fears of jail time and measures to avoid it, LiLo has also made peace with actor Charlie Sheen. The actor had donated about $99,440 to the actress facing financial troubles. Sheen recently said that the actress hadn't thanked him yet. So finally the troubled star sent him flowers and a thank you note for the times Sheen stood up for her.
Lohan, after steering clear of troubles for quite some time, made headlines late November after allegedly punching a woman named Tiffany Eve Mitchell at the Avenue Nightclub, NYC. The same day LiLo was also charged with three other crimes related to her car crash in June on Pacific Coast Highway, according to nydailynews.
The star is said to have given false information to a police officer, resisted an officer in the performance of his duty and has also been charged for reckless driving.
Lohan's case is scheduled for hearing Jan. 25, 2013.
