Amanda Bynes, accused in two hit-and-run cases that occurred in April and August, has allegedly paid off both her accusers and gotten the charges dropped, according to Perez Hilton. The actress reportedly reached a compromise with both the victims and they have agreed to drop the charges against her in favor of the financial settlement.

Bynes was scheduled to appear in court for a hearing Dec. 17. Instead Richard Hutton, Bynes' lawyer presented the two compromise forms and requested for the dismissal of the cases, Dec. 12. With this the actress doesn't have to worry about a possible sentence of six months each, if she had been convicted.

"Amanda is satisfied and grateful for this outcome of the case," her lawyer Hutton told E! News.

"This is routinely done when both sides are able to come to an agreement, and there really is no need to pursue legal charges because damages to their respective vehicles were paid for," the site quoted a legal insider.

The "She's the Man" actress had pleaded "not guilty" after the hit-and-run incident that took place in April. She tweeted, "I can't help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me. I was not in any hit and runs. I don't drink so the DUI is false."

While this news might have pleased the actress, the LA prosecutors aren't exactly a happy lot and are protesting against the dismissal.

But the problems of the 26-year-old do not end with this. Bynes still faces charges for driving under the influence in April as well as denying to take a sobriety test. She also faces two charges for driving while on a suspended license.
