The Rodeo Drive Committee and the City of Beverly Hills inducted legendary Italian jeweler Bulgari into the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style, Dec. 5, 2012 on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The on-going award, inaugurated in 2003, honors style legends for their contributions to the world of fashion and entertainment.
The honor was presented by actress Drew Barrymore and accepted by Nicola Bulgari, vice chairman and third generation family member. He was also presented with a bronze tablet with his signature and a quote on it. The quote read, "Style is an everlasting impression and jewelry is a passion that is passed through generations."
Accepting the award, the vice chairman of the brand said that he was "humbled to be included in the company of [previous recipients] like Ms. Vreeland and Princess Grace of Monaco" according to The Los Angeles Times.
Bulgari is the 20th brand to be honored with this award and Bulgari joins other popular honorees like Missoni Fred, Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, Cartier, Valentino Garavani, Manolo Blahnik, Donatella Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Tom Ford. Giorgio Armani was the first recipient in 2003.
