Marion Cotillard Lady Dior bag's new designer. The actress chosen as the face of "Lady Dior" in 2009 and have been advertising for the brand is now channelling her creative energy from acting to fashion.  

The French actress, known for her roles in Inception, The Dark Knight Rises and her Oscar winning performance as Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose is now also a creative fashion designer. 

In her recent interview Cotillard revealed that "She has been the face of the Lady Dior bag since 2008, the epitome of a sophisticated and vibrant woman," according to statement by Dior, adding "It was, of course, completely natural that Marion Cotillard would go on to design her own bag, her personal Lady Dior, as modern as it is timeless."

The 37 year-old actress stated in Dior's web documentary she is torn between "rock and roll type or something extremely simple."  The Lady Dior 360 bag would include houndstooth "I adore houndstooth," adding "I would still like to put a strong Dior symbol on it." The actress turn designer reveals her inspiration from the trees against the night sky in winter.

 

When not designing the actress is currently staring in Rust and Bone (de rouille et d'os) for director Jacques Audiard.
