Donatella Versace hired the young British fashion designer who recently won the Emerging Fashion Award during the English Fashion Awards.

J.W. Anderson at 28 already has a following of celebrities from Alexander Chung to Rita Ora. J.W. Anderson designer skirts and tops have been featured in Vogue and  Elle. The designers recent collaboration with Topshop have been a major success.

The J.W. Anderson, Versus collaboration is expected to start in Spring of 2013, according to Fashionmag.com

"I keep a close eye on young talent, and have been impressed by Jonathan's work over the last couple of years," said Donatella Versace.

Anderson stated he was inspired by his previous 1996 Versace shoot with photographer Bruce Weber. "For me, this iconic image says it all, that's how I see Versus," said Anderson.
