Adorable 6-year-old, Dannielynn Birkhead, daughter of late model and actress Anna Nicole Smith has landed herself a modeling gig with Guess. The little girl is all set to follow in her mother's footstep as the face of Guess Kids campaign that will launch in January, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Birkhead looks very cute dressed in a white and blue patterned top, blue denim skirt, a white sleeveless jacket and a fedora hat. Shot at a beach, the little model leans against a tree with a faraway gaze. With modeling in her genes, she looks comfortable and confidently poses for the camera.

While Birkhead looks adorable in the photo shoot, the move has sparked numerous speculations regarding such a young girl's involvement with the industry and that shel is too young to be in the spotlight. But her father doesn't seem to have any qualms about it.

"It's really a tribute to her mom more than anything. She's not going to be a model. Her mom's history with Guess was very positive. The ads were iconic and timeless," nydailynews.com quoted dad Larry Birkhead as saying. "People have said she's already stepping into her mom's shoes, and that's very broad. I want to be clear this was just a tribute. She's still a kid at heart, and she's going to stay that way as long as possible," he added.

Smith who was addicted to prescription drugs accidently overdosed on it and was found dead in a hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood in Feb. 2007.

The photo shoot has been directed by Guess Creative Director Paul Marciano and photographed by Elliston Lutz. It also features Peyton Edmonds, the daughter of singer Babyface. The Guess Kids ads featuring little Birkhead and Edmonds are set to be seen early 2013 on billboards, magazines and buses.
