Australian model Miranda Kerr has replaced Kate Moss as the new face of the high-street brand Mango. The Victoria’s Secret model and wife of Hollywood star, Orlando Bloom, is set to appear in the brand's print and online Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaigns.

Mango choosing the 29-year-old mother of one is not surprising as Kerr can relate to the brand’s young fans and has a fabulous face and figure to represent it. Mango carries a range of stunning apparel like cocktail dresses, formal wear like trousers, shirts and jackets, as well as casual jeans, shorts, tops etc. The unique styles and designs of Mango are renowned worldwide and loved by fans.

Full details of the Spring/Summer collection which Kerr will sport haven't been disclosed yet, but the brand has released pictures of the model posing for the shoot.

The ads are set to debut soon and in the released pictures, Kerr is dressed in monochrome attire of a black round-neck top tucked into a pair of black-and-white striped pants and a chic white jacket. The shoot took place in New York and was photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and styled by Geraldine Saglio, according to reports by The Telegraph.

Kerr has been the face of a variety of brands like Levi's's, Maybelline New York and also appeared on the covers of numerous magazines and she is excited about this new assignment too.

“I am delighted to be collaborating with Mango for the Spring/Summer 2013 season," Kerr said. "We had a great time shooting the campaign and it was very easy working with the entire team. What's more, Mango is a brand that I love. You always find the perfect garment for every occasion!” E!Online quoted Kerr as saying.

With this collaboration, Kerr joins the brigade of popular faces like Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger and Naomi Campbell, who have modeled for Mango in the past.
