Lingerie once used to be an intimate garment to be worn unseen and not flaunted. But thanks to Victoria's Secret fashion shows and celebs frequently flashing their intimates, lingerie is a big part of the fashion industry and a woman's wardrobe nowadays.

The Lingerie Collective is launching its popular luxury boutique trade show in New York City for the AW13 season in collaboration with the trade publication, The Lingerie Journal. Twenty five luxury brands will be exhibiting at the event.

"We are thrilled to collaborate and partner with the Lingerie Collective's first show in NYC!" said Luis Paredes, publisher of the Lingerie Journal.

The Lingerie Collective specializes in the best of independent lingerie brands. Founded in 2009 during the London Fashion Week, the concept has grown from a collective group of brands exhibiting new season collections to London's only luxury lingerie trade show.

The store carries some of the most popular and classy brands like the Bordelle, Ell and Cee, Lelo, Marika Vera, Mimi Holiday etc. The store's collection is not only stylish but also chic and erotic.

Erotic and racy lingerie are a rage since "Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L.James became a hit with women worldwide. The Lingerie Collective carries a range of erotic lingerie that is popular with customers. Right from racy body suits to fur handcuffs and fringe blindfolds, the store has it all to tantalize your senses. Along with basic lingerie the store also carries a variety of loungewear items like shorts, camisoles and kimonos.

The New York show is scheduled to take place Feb. 24 -26, 2013 in Manhattan.
