Music lovers surely enjoyed the American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles Nov. 18, and it must have been a pleasure to see their favorite singers receiving various awards. But it was not just music lovers who had fun. Fashion lovers too got a visual treat, checking out all the latest trends and styles flaunted by numerous celebrities on the red carpet.

It was nice to see Taylor Swift finally getting over her obsession with red, as the singer looked stunning in a golden dress with sheer sleeves. The Zuhair Murad dress with beads and embellishments was sheer on the sleeves and Swift paired it with strappy golden peep-toes.

Metallic colored ensembles seems to be a rage with celebs right now, with Heidi Klum, Stacy Keibler, Phoebe Price and Elisha Cuthbert flaunting these tones. Klum donned an Alexandre Vauthier golden semi-sheer frock with a high neck design and slit on the thighs, which the model paired with glittery golden Louboutins. Both Price and Cuthbert sported similar tones of metallic gowns but Keibler was not one to blindly follow the trend. Though she did sport the metallic color, George Clooney’s girl went a step further, opting for a black and silver glittery frock teamed with heels similar to Klum’s.

But our spirits were lifted when we saw the “Gangnam Style” hit maker Psy, who even showed his moves on the red carpet, sf.com reports. Dressed in a pair of blingy black pants with silver detailing and a leather jacket worn over a white shirt, the Korean artist looked happy and upbeat.

Bieber was awarded the Artist of the year, Pop/rock male artist and his album “Believe” was named the Pop/Rock album. The Pop/Rock band, duo or group was awarded to Maroon 5, Taylor Swift was awarded the Country female artist and David Guetta was named the Electronic Dance music artist.
