We have all gone through different phases in life where we sported a particular sense of style for weeks. From hip-hop and rock chick to the hippie and bohemian style, we’ve done it all. While these looks might not be that difficult to pull off, very few people look good in tomboyish-casual attire. And it’s even more difficult to dress like a tomboy and still exude sophistication.
One person who seems to do exactly the same with ease is Diane Kruger, who was spotted by justjared.com going for a shopping stroll at The Grove in Los Angeles, Nov. 10.
The 36-year-old singer and actress pulled off a subtle tomboy look in a black round-necked top and a pair of blue high-waist jeans. The fitted jeans showed off Kruger’s long, slender legs and she paired it with metal-tipped boots. She shielded her eyes with red-framed Rayban wayfarer sunglasses and toted a bright orange bag.
What caught our eye was how the “Troy” star wore a black newsboy cap and looked so stylish in it. With minimal makeup and looking simple chic, Kruger strolled around checking her iPhone and carrying a shopping bag.
Kruger was also a former model and has been seen in a number of advertisements for Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo and many more. She gradually quit modeling to focus on her acting career.
Kruger’s sense of style has often been appreciated by critics and fans alike. The actress carries off the casual jeans and T-shirt look with equal élan as she sports her red carpet looks. For the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, the German beauty looked stunning in a cut-out Versus dress that showed off her wonderful curves and slender legs. Not just that, she also stole our hearts the same day when she looked glamorous in a sea green one-shoulder gown by Giambattista Valli.
