The honor and joy of being named the British Designer of the Year at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, and Best International Designer at the Telva Fashion Awards in Madrid must not have even faded; she has now started a new store in Barcelona. British designer Stella McCartney is definitely riding high.

For the opening, McCartney was dressed in her own design from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection which featured a cheerful white and yellow patterned jumpsuit. The designer paired her ensemble with her signature ‘Daphne’ court shoes and wore her straight hair loose and parted in the middle.

With minimal makeup and accessories, the designer looked content and laid-back, as opposed to the awards night where the 41-year-looked very glamorous in a black wet-suit inspired dress with blue sides. The designer showed off her perfect legs and completed her look with tied up tresses.

The designer, who is the daughter of “The Beatles” legend Sir Paul McCartney, has dressed a number of renowned celebs like Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Pippa Middleton, Kristen Stewart and more. She has a very distinctive and sophisticated sense of style which she has replicated on various runway shows.

The new store in Barcelona reflects an intimate and personal atmosphere with artistic details illustrating Stella McCartney’s signature style which is a combination of sharpness and femininity.

With oak parquet floors in traditional herringbone pattern, the environment is very warm and compliments the ready-to-wear designs displayed on brass sculptural fixtures that are extremely sophisticated and elegant, while handbags are showcased on a Venetian plaster wall.

A dedicated Stella McCartney Kids corner is perfectly in tune with the joy, playfulness and carefree nature of childhood. The Kids collection, in a variety of vibrant and cheerful designs and colors, are fun and trendy.
