Katherine Heigl is known for dressing dowdy and making fashion blunders occasionally. Recently the actress has been seen sporting not only sleek silhouettes but also seems to have made a drastic change to her sense of style.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” star was spotted by gossipcenter.com catching up for lunch with her mother Nancy at the Sushi Katsu Ya in Studio City, California, Nov. 8. Heigl looked lean and stunning in a pair of blue super skinny jeans that showed off her long slender legs, which she paired with a shimmery golden top with a bow and a cute off-white cardigan. The off-white color stood out in contrast to her shimmery top and her blond locks which she left loose.

Heigl towered above her mother in killer Christian Louboutin heels in nude color and matched her tote to it. Even though the affair was very casual and laid-back, the actress totally dressed up for it. With rosy cheeks and light lip color, Heigl completed her look with chunky metallic earrings and her favorite rose tinted sunglasses.

Heigl seems to have really developed a taste for sushi, as she has been dining on the Japanese delicacy three days in a row. Just on Nov. 7, the mother of two was seen heading to Hanami Sushi in Calabasas by zimbio.com. She was an epitome of casual chic dressed in a white, patterned sleeveless collared top, tucked into black skinny jeans and paired with black ballet flats. The actress looked toned and adorable and smiled at onlookers.

Even on Election Day, The “27 Dresses” star was seen enjoying a sushi lunch with husband Josh Kelley.

Sushi is generally considered a healthy food option and it looks like this is how Heigl maintains her well-known hour-glass figure.
