Robert Pattinson has made news again. And it is (surprisingly) not because of his relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart or for the last instalment of “The Twilight Saga”. It is indeed true that the franchise is coming to an end, with the last movie “Breaking Dawn Part 2” hitting theatres in November, but fans will be thrilled to know that this is not the last time they get to feast their eyes on the handsome Briton.
According to a report by E!Online, Pattinson will still enthral fans, but this time as the new face of Dior’s men’s fragrance. The star has landed a $12 million deal with the elite brand that was previously endorsed by another Hollywood biggie, Jude Law.
The Twilight star will appear in the ad campaigns of the French fashion brand’s fragrance line. The deal is expected to be for three years. “Rob likes the brand,” the site quoted a source as saying.
This is the first major endorsement for the 26-year-old, who is not only popular for being the hottest vampire ever, but also for his ceremonial and impeccable sense of style on the red carpet. The actor was recently seen flying solo on the red carpet of the LACMA Art and Film Gala. He looked delectable in a fitted and well-tailored black suit worn over a crisp shirt and a slim tie.
The actor is not afraid to experiment with his looks and has sported a variety of hairstyles over the years. Pattinson’s nature of adaptability and his effortless sense of style make him the perfect face for Dior Homme.
The cast of “The Twilight Saga” really seems to be testing new waters. Pattinson is not the only one who is branching out to modeling. His co-star and on-again girlfriend Kristen Stewart was roped in as the face of Balenciaga early this year and Ashley Greene, popularly known as Alice Cullen, joined DKNY as the new face for the brand’s fall line.
