November brings not only Thanksgiving, but along with it comes the biggest shopping season. Black Friday may be a month away, but what is the harm in dreaming about all the merchandise one wants to buy and getting excited as a result. Especially when we are on the same page as Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, Fred's, Harbor Freight and Tommy Hilfiger.
These amazing fashion brands seem to be as excited as we are about the shopping season and have leaked teasers of their ads on blackfriday.fm. Some stores like Half Price Books have even hinted through their previews that practices from last year’s Black Friday may be repeated this year.
Fred's and Tommy Hilfiger have released only partial ads as of now, and these small previews reveal some big savings. Doesn’t a Fred's $79.95 Android tablet, and a stackable 40 percent discount on all inventory at Tommy Hilfiger sound so tempting?
To make things easier all-around, a few stores will be repeating last year's Black Friday promotions. Harbor Freight released their 2012 Black Friday ad on the exact same date as 2011. In addition, the retailer will once again let in “Inside Track Club” members one hour earlier than the general public.
This year, customers can ‘bag their totes’ at Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works and Half Price Books, which will be gifting customers abundantly on Black Friday. Victoria's Secret will be giving out a free limited edition tote with a cosmetics gift bundle with purchases of $65 or more. Bath and Body Works will be selling gift bags filled with their products valued at over $100 for a discounted price of $20 when customers spend more than $40. Half Price Books will hand out 100 tote bags to their first 100 customers like they did last year, and each bag will include a free $5 gift card and one lucky shopper's bag will contain a $100 gift card.
It’s the shopping season for all, so how can the kids be left out. Toys R Us, Blain's Farm and Fleet and Wal-Mart have publicized their 2012 toy catalogues. Hot Wheels, Barbie, Star Wars and Lego will come with special discounts. These offers and discounts will not only ensure a smile on the child’s face, but on the parent’s as well.
As of now, minimal stores have revealed their offers, but we hope that in a few weeks time, the excitement and holiday mood is amplified much more with more stores revealing their plans.
