Vera Wang showcased her fall 2013 collection of bridal dresses at the Bridal Fashion Week Oct. 16. Just a few months ago, the designer unveiled her spring collection which consisted of only red wedding gowns. Before that, the designer wowed the audience with black, but this season, Wang chose to stick to the conventional white.

The designer and her designs never get monotonous. Wang showcased a collection of brilliant, fairy-like bridal gowns, cleveland.com reports.

The breathtaking collection of white and ivory gowns was nothing like the ones we see at usual weddings. Wang dolled up the models in gowns with flamboyant skirts that were perfectly in contrast to the corseted waists.

Wang has worked with a variety of detailing and intricate designs. The color and idea of the gowns might be conventional, but the design ideas were contemporary. The skirts have been adorned with different types of frills, laces and ruffles and they look like a dream, which is not exactly surprising, because it is Vera Wang after all.

“The 2013 Fall bridal collection reflects an exploration of laces and hand-wrought, placed appliquéd and tossed onto an assortment of light, airy confections with a casual nonchalance. This study in femininity and romance celebrates the wedding gown in a new take on classicism and ornamentation,” chicagonow.com quoted the designer as saying.

The Bridal Fashion Week also showcased collections by designers like Marchesa, who unveiled a 21- piece lacy as well as chiffon collection.

Designer Monique Lhuillier went a step further and unveiled not only her adorable bridal collection, but also showcased her engagement rings and shoes collection. She introduced the peplum style to her bridal gowns, also unveiling a dress that was knee-length in the front but had a train behind.

The hard work and creativity put in by designers always pays off, as whatever your relationship status may be, you are sure to love these gowns.
