
The US company, Chosen Foods, which is known for its avocado oil and related items formally announced that it will embark on the haircare industry with its avocado oil-infused hair serum.
"We are excited to celebrate its functionality in personal care by repackaging our iconic 100% Pure Avocado Oil in a sleek, convenient dropper bottle designed for beauty routines," announced Rylee Kitts, Chosen Foods' marketing manager.
Regarding its decision to create hair products, Kitts then recalled the incident that led to the release.

"When a few of our team members began using our avocado oil as a hair serum to make their locks shiny and soft, we knew we needed to bring our 100% Pure Avocado Oil to haircare."
Chosen Beauty 100% Pure Avocado Oil Hair Serum, comes in a 1.3 fl oz bottle that can be used for dry, damaged, or color-treated hair.

It has various uses, including hydrating the scalp (to be used 1 hour before washing), as well as as a pre-shampoo for 20 minutes to nourish the ends. On top of these, the oil also works as a hair mask that can be left overnight to repair dry and damaged hair. Lastly, it gives instant smoothness to vanish split ends and flyaways.
"You can also use the oil to moisturize cuticles and even to remove makeup," added Kitts, in a press release covered by Happi.
