Guerlain, one of the beauty scene's titans has tapped Korean actress Song Hye Kyo as its newest ambassador.

The Parisian house specifically appointed the global star in its skincare and makeup lines, making her the first celebrity to become the Asia Pacific ambassador of Guerlain.

In the following months, she will actively lead promotions and campaigns for Maison's new makeup and skincare products.

"Song Hye Kyo embodies modern femininity and elegance, perfectly reflecting Guerlain’s artistic heritage. With Song Hye Kyo, a symbol of film, art, and beauty, we look forward to sharing the brand’s vision with the world," explained CEO Gabriel Saint-Genez, on why they chose Song amongst the pool of top Korean and Asian stars through KBizoom.

Song also acknowledged the brand's elegant, timeless beauty that combines both tradition and innovation, which is why she's happy to work with them.

In a short promotional video posted on Guerlain Paris' official social media account, Song Hye Kyo boasted her unchanging looks while trying on a bold red lipstick from the Rouge G line. Fans can look forward to more of her ads, photos, and clips in the future.

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo rose as one of the highest-paid actresses in Korea with her famous works such as the K-Drama, "Descendants of the Sun" and Netflix's "The Glory" Season 1 and 2.

She is expected to return to the big screen with a new film, "Dark Nuns" which is set to be released on January 24.
