"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively is back in action, making her first public appearance since her fairy tale wedding with actor Ryan Reynolds. Lively was spotted at a Chanel event - the 80th anniversary of Bijoux De Diamants collection - by the Daily Mail.

Lively flaunted her svelte figure dressed in a pink and silver dress with a unique metal-strap halter and a deep V plunging neckline. The dress was pleated below the waistline in such a way that each pleat came in alternating colors of pink and gray. The gown also had a pink bodice with crystal embroidery on it.

The actress left her bouncy locks loose, accessorized with a tiny glittery hair band, and sported a pale pink lipstick. She completed the look with black Louboutin heels. She was also seen wearing gray nail paint, which matched with her dress.

Marriage definitely agrees with the star, as she looked content and radiant on the red carpet. Beaming at the camera, Lively looked stunning, but kept her ring away from the glare. Later, however, splashnewsonline.com did spot the ring - a gorgeous pink oval diamond set in a beautiful rose gold background. Reynolds is said to have selected the ring in consultation with jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Reynolds reportedly coughed up $2 million for the rock.

Lively and Reynolds were notoriously secretive about their relationship, not even announcing their engagement. Reynolds had been married to actress Scarlett Johansson and the couple filed for divorce in 2011. Lively is known to have dated "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley, who plays Dan Humphrey in the show, for about three years.

Lively is quite a fashionista, and her elegant and subtle sense of style is rather a rage among fans. For her very private and extremely lavish wedding to Reynolds that was held in Boon Hall Plantation, South Carolina, Lively wore a custom Marchesa dress designed by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig and footwear by the iconic Christian Louboutin.

The event was also attended by Alexa Chung, Rose Byrne, Diane Kruger, January Jones and a few others.
