CosRx has introduced its new Alpha-Arbutin 2 Skin Discoloration Care Serum that works well for the face and body.

On Thursday, the K-beauty & skincare brand under Amorepacific exclusively released its new product on Ulta Beauty, priced at $25.

This serum boasts a high-potent formula, the combination of six key ingredients such as Alpha-arbutin, an active ingredient needed to reduce pigmentation of acne and age scars, as well as post-acne redness.

In addition to this, it has tranexamic acid 3%, which is responsible for treating discoloration and lightening visible dark spots. Niacinamide is also added to prevent the skin from drying. Lastly, it also has N-acetylglucosamin (NAG), ferulic acid, and glutathione.

Combining these six in one bottle, CosRx new serum introduced a powerful formula to slow down the production of melanin, a substance that gives the skin, hair, and eyes color. Too much production of this results in hyperpigmentation.

Shoppers with sensitive skin can use this due to its gentle formula without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, and is non-comedogenic. It is also lightweight with a quick-absorbing formula, thanks to its watery form.

In a clinical test conducted by P&K Skin Research Center among females aged 20 to 59, 95% agreed that it improved their melanin, lessened annoying acne and dark spots, and illuminated the skin.
